Masar mentioned on French book “L’Odyssée de la mix-tape” by journalist Tiburce MAVOUNGOUD

In 1998 I’ve dropped my first mixtape as a young DJ inspired by turntablism legends such as Tony Touch, Eclipse, Riz, Premier, Funkmaster Flex, and Cut Killer just to name a few. 20 years later my tape was mentioned in this amazing book titled “L’Odyssée de la mix-tape” (Mixtape odyssey) by journalist Tiburce MAVOUNGOUD which list all the classic French mixtapes that helped shape the history of Hip Hop in France. Hopefully his book will inspire other collectors worldwide to do the same and share a piece of the hip hop culture from their respective countries.

 

For those who are curious on how skillful I was at scratching and beat juggling make sure to activate the sound on this post and let me know if you need some cuts on your next wax, I still got it ;).
