Born and raised in Spanish Harlem in New York City, Paladino Aka P.A. paints vivid pictures of the pain and pleasures of the game in his rhymes. He began rapping around his neighborhood and in the halls of his school before he was 14 years old. While incarcerated for armed robbery in an Upstate New York prison, he set his mind to pursue a rap career and began to hone his skill and master his craft. After he was released, P.A. quickly gained following releasing mixtapes featuring his witty wordplay and on-point flow.
On the heels of his mixtape hype, P.A. was an opening act with fellow underground label M.E.N. (Middle East Niggaz) on tour with Method Man. P.A. coasted through “Freestyle Friday” on BET’s 106 and Park before being disqualified for cursing on the air. He signed with longtime friends and upcoming label Piff Unit Records and in 2013 dropped 3 mixtapes followed by the successful and controversial full-length album, “Live Like U Might Die”. Reviews from music critics has been positive saying, “His music captures audiences with harsh truths wrapped in a tight delivery that embody a hustler’s life in New York City.”
