Growing up just one street away from the legendary corner dubbed ‘The Danger Zone’, 140th and Lennox, Alpac brings his own voice to the rap/ hip-hop game while paying homage to the harlem streets where he was raised.
At a very young age, Alpac was no stranger to the street life, losing his father to the dope game at the age of four, murdered just a block away from his home. Alpac accounts how the tragic event impacted him in his autobiographical song “My Life”, which has over 55,000 views on youtube.
Alpac’s music accounts his street lifestyle while also referencing his predecessors. He cites Eazy E, Tupac, and Big L as influences of his music. After a long stay in the correctional system Alpac was back on his grind in 2006, working with Gain Greene Records releasing various Mixtapes including his saga ‘Menace from Lennox’, consisting of various tapes.
Also, be on the look out for his new mixtape “Hell in Harlem Vol.1″ that will be coming out within the next few weeks.
